PAUL DRUDE MEDAL

An award, the "Paul Drude Medal", will be given to a young scientist for exceptional contributions to the field of ellipsometry.  In addition to an abstract for an oral presentation, in order to apply for the Paul Drude Medal, the young scientists are required to submit a one page CV. The application is done in the same portal of the abstract submission.

The deadline for application is the same as the application for an oral or poster contribution.

Further prizes will be awarded for best poster contributions.

Travel award program

As part of the AKE's efforts to promote a European network of ellipsometry, financial assistance to attend the Workshop Ellipsometry (WSE) is available to students from European countries. Students from the countries listed below are eligible to apply for one of five bursaries of Euro up to 500 to contribute to the costs of attending the WSE'23. The bursary will be paid by bank transfer.
In addition to an oral/poster abstract, in order to apply for the travel award, the students are required to submit a short text (max. 300 words) describing their research activities and explaining why attendance at the WSE would be beneficial to their research. The application is done in the same portal of the abstract submission..

The deadline for application is the same as the application for an oral or poster contribution.
